Liz Fowler

Liz Fowler is the President and CEO of Bluegrass Care Navigators, a Kentucky-based national leader in delivering high quality end-of-life care and a pioneer in developing new programs that are responsive to the evolving needs of seriously ill patients and their families in both rural and urban communities. The organization is a two-time Circle of Life award winner and named one of Modern Healthcare’s and Kentucky’s Best Places to Work.


For more than 30 years Liz has brought leadership and a commitment to innovation in health care and nonprofit organizations in Kentucky, Florida and California. Liz is a nationally recognized leader in hospice and palliative care and currently is an active member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s board of directors, past president of the Kentucky Association of Hospice and Palliative Care, faculty member for the Center to Advance Palliative Care’s Palliative Care Leadership Center (PCLC), advisory committee member for the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky, and member of the editorial board for Medical News.


Liz has a master of public health degree from the UCLA, a bachelor of science degree and is certified in gerontology from Syracuse University.
